PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team finished in 11th place overall at Golfweek Caledonia after three rounds of competition on Tuesday at the Caledonia Golf Club.
Team
UNCG carded a round three score of 15-over-par (299).
The Spartans completed the three-day tournament with a team score of 29-over-par (881) with round scores of 289-293-299, placing 11th out of 23 teams.
The Spartans finished tied for eighth with 35 birdies.
UNC Wilmington took home the team title with a two-over-par (854) total.
ETSU took home ninth place overall with a 25-over-par (877) team total, while Mercer placed 15th with a 41-over-par (893).
Individual
Freshmen Baker Hudson and Wilma Siwers finished the tournament tied for 30th overall out of 120 competitors.
Hudson posted a three-over-par (74) third round score for a total of six-over-par (219).
Siwers completed the three-day tournament with scores of 70-72-77 for a total of six-over-par (219).
Senior Kasey McIlvaine tied for 36th place following scores of 71-76-73, finishing seven-over-par (220).
Classmate Elle Burnette moved up three spots to tie for 47th following round scores of 77-71-75 for a total of 10-over-par (223).
Freshman Eva Brown completed her second collegiate tournament, finishing tied for 102nd with round scores of 78-79-78 for 22-over-par (235).
