More than 100 people took a dip in Lake Norman for charity during the Hope at the Lake Foundation's 11th Annual Polar Plunge on Tuesday at Trump National Golf Club Charlotte.
The money raised by the event helps support SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) of Iredell and Food for Days, said Greg Jackson who is the chair of the plunge.

Officials are warning that high water levels along the Catawba River Basin and in Lake Norman may cause unsafe boating conditions.
