North Carolina Iredell County LEGAL NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND PARTICULARLY THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF STATESVILLE'S PLANNING JURISDICTION YOU WILL TAKE NOTICE: That the City Council of the City of Statesville will hold and conduct a public hearing on the 19th day of April 2021, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 227 South Center Street, Statesville, North Carolina, for the purpose of considering a proposed ordinance to amend the zoning classification of the after-described properties as follows: Case # ZC21-01: Case # ZC21-01 filed by Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. for properties located on Quarry Road and Bradley Farm Road: portions of Tax Map Parcel numbers 4735-14-0559, 4735-14-7610, 4735-14-9633 from R-10 (Urban Low Density Residential) District to HI CZ (Heavy Industrial Conditional Zoning) District, and for 4735-23-6512 and 4735-23-5897 from B-2 (Neighborhood Business) District to HI CZ (Heavy Industrial Conditional Zoning) District; and for modification of conditions on Tax Map Parcel numbers 4725-84-5617, 4725-84-7242, 4725-83-9415, 4725-81-9923, 4725-94-9219, 4735-03-4782, 4735-12-2172 ALSO: That the City Council of the City of Statesville will hold and conduct an evidentiary hearing on the 19th day of April 2021, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 227 South Center Street, Statesville, North Carolina, for the purpose of considering a proposed Special Use Permit as follows: Case # SP21-01: Special Use Permit for Mines/Quarries per Section 2.10 of the Unified Development Code for the above-noted portions of parcels 4735-14-0559, 4735-14-7610, 4735-14-9633, 4735-23-6512 and 4735-23-5897; and for modification of conditions on parcels 4725-84-5617, 4725-84-7242, 4725-83-9415, 4725-81-9923, 4725-94-9219, 4735-03-4782, 4735-12-2172 All interested citizens are urged to attend these hearings. Regarding the Special Use Permit, adjoining property owners and others with specific standing are urged to attend and must present testimony and factual evidence.
